Jennifer started out in the medical field as a pharmacy technician. However, seeing all the patients on medications for life lead her to look for a better way. After some research, homeopathy and herbal medicine were exactly what she was looking for. Jennifer began her studies in natural health studying Reiki with Reiki Blessings Academy and Gary and Adele Malone. Jennifer then studied herbal medicine with Heart of Herbs Herbal School and Sage Mountain Herbal School, graduating as a Master Herbalist. Then studying homeopathic medicine with the British Institute of Homeopathy, graduating from their Homeopathic Medicine program. While studying with the British Institute, Jennifer was awarded the Samuel Hahnemann award for Excellence. Jennifer continued her education in Fitness and Nutrition. Jennifer then studied colon hydrotherapy with CNHHC, graduating as a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist. Jennifer continued her studies in natural health with Sandy Hill School of Natural Health graduating as a Doctor of Natural Health. Jennifer realized that an important part of a patients care includes the structural function of the body. Jennifer attended National University of Medical Sciences’ manual osteopathy degree, and was part of the very first graduating class of the Doctor of Osteopathy program with NUMSS and the first graduating class of the Doctor of Botanical Medicine program with NUMSS. She is doing post graduate studies in Athletic Therapy (MSc(AT)) with NUMSS. Jennifer was just recently elected Secretary/Treasurer for the newly formed Canadian Union of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners. She is also in her final year of the Oriental Medicine doctorate (OMD)and Naturopathy doctorate (NMD) with the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine and will graduate the fall of 2016.
As a young child, Jennifer knew she wanted to work with animals. This lead her to study animal herbology graduating as an Animal Herbalist. She is currently studying animal naturopathy with Kingdom College of Natural Health and will graduate with a Doctor of Veterinary Naturopathy degree in spring of 2016. Jennifer plans to study canine and equine massage in the summer and fall of 2016. Jennifer has a special interest in pediatric care, pregnancy & women's health care, skin care, digestive issues, athletes & fitness, and animals.
